Susan Nierenberg: PhD, NP

Susan graduated from The SUNY at Buffalo Nurse Practitioner Program in 1992. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Daemon College in 2013. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Nursing.

Her practice has included holistic management of adult and pediatric patients in the primary care setting for over 25 years. She also has experience as a psychiatric nurse providing individual and group counseling in an outpatient mental health setting for 12 years. She has specialty training in mindfulness-based treatment modalities. She has been with Sedona Holistic Medical Centre since July of 2016. She sees patients for primary care as well as mindfulness-based counseling. Mindfulness-based strategies have been found to be effective for patients receiving medication assisted treatment for substance abuse disorders, as well as patients with chronic illness, pain, anxiety, depression and for those working to cope more effectively with chronic stress.

Michael Fraser: PA-C

Michael Fraser is a 2015 graduate of the D’Youville College Physician Assistant Program. He joined the staff of Sedona Holistic Medical Centre in February 2015. He is a lecturer and preceptor in The D’Youville College Physician Assistant Program.

Michael practices with patients in the primary care setting, including problems such as opiod addiction, adrenal insufficiency, thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies and nutritional problems. He also treats patients with orthopedic problems including back pain and joint pain. Michael was certified to care for patients with opiod addiction using buprenorphine in April of 2017, one of the first PA’s in New York State to achieve that distinction. He also actively engages with patients in a holistic and empathetic manner.


Marlene Rogers FNP:

Marlene has been with Sedona since 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2007. She completed training at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. She believes in integrating conventional and complimentary medicine in promotion of optimal health, and prevention and treatment of disease. Her areas of interest are holistic primary care, health promotion, addiction medicine, and chronic thyroid disease.

Ashely:  LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), works the clinical end of the center and does B-12 injections and triage.
